Next Coffeehouse: Friday, May 16 PDF Print Email

Our May 16 open mike will be at The Johns Hopkins Mattin Center at 33rd and Charles Streets, in the
Swirnow Theater Cafe (also know as the Silk Road), where the acoustics are
amazing. The Swirnow Theater is one of the red brick JHU buildings on the
west side of Charles St. at 33rd, just up the steps from the street.

(Big things are brewing for June. Cavalry Baptist Church, at 120 W. Pennsylvania Ave. in Towson, has generously offered us the use of their space. Stay tuned for more information and confirmation of this cool new venue for June.)

Date: Friday May 16

Time: 8:00 pm

Welcome to the Friendly Coffeehouse (A BFMS-sponsored event) PDF Print Email

The Friendly Coffeehouse Open Mike is a BFMS-sponsored event, taking place on Second Fridays each month at 8 pm. We offer a friendly, supportive atmosphere for acoustic musicians, poets, storytellers and other folkies. Our open mike slots are usually three songs or ten minutes, depending on the size of the crowd. Please check our website, right here, on the day of the event for occasional last minute changes of venue. To be put on our mailing list, contact lulansey at mica.edu.

Next coffeehouse date: Friday May 16 (Please note, this is a THIRD Friday--just an exception that proves our usual "second Friday" rule, and keeps us on our toes)

Time: 8:00 pm
